Product Overview

Expanded metal fence is a durable and high-strength security solution made by slitting and stretching steel sheets into a one-piece diamond-shaped mesh. This seamless construction provides excellent impact resistance, structural stability, and long-term reliability. The open mesh design allows visibility, airflow, and light penetration while effectively preventing climbing and unauthorized access. Available in hot-dip galvanized, powder-coated, or galvanized plus powder-coated finishes, expanded metal fences are ideal for industrial facilities, commercial buildings, warehouses, machine guarding, and perimeter protection projects. Its combination of durability, security, and low maintenance makes it a cost-effective choice for a wide range of applications.

Key Engineering Features

High Structural Strength

Expanded metal mesh is made from a single steel sheet without welding points, providing excellent structural integrity, high load-bearing capacity, and strong impact resistance.

Anti-Climb and Anti-Cut Performance

The diamond-shaped mesh design reduces footholds and leverage points, making climbing difficult and cutting more challenging than traditional welded mesh fences.

Excellent Visibility and Airflow

The open mesh structure allows visibility, airflow, and light penetration while maintaining effective security.

Long Service Life

With hot-dip galvanizing or powder-coated finishes, expanded metal mesh fences provide strong corrosion resistance for outdoor and industrial environments.

Material & Coating Technology

Engineered corrosion protection from core to topcoat.

Premium Carbon Steel Sheet

Processed from solid steel sheets (ASTM A1011 / Q235). The slit-and-stretch process hardens the steel, creating a mesh with a higher strength-to-weight ratio than the original sheet.

Seamless One-Piece Design

No welds. No joints. The strands and bonds are continuous. Even if a strand is cut, the mesh will not unravel or break apart, providing superior security.

HDG After Expansion

Critical step: The mesh is hot-dipped in zinc after the expanding process (ASTM A123). This ensures all raw slit edges are fully sealed and protected from rust.

Industrial Powder Coating

An optional electrostatic powder topcoat adds color and UV resistance, making it suitable for architectural facades or high-end perimeter fencing.
