Livestock field fence
The ultimate solution for farm containment and grassland management. Manufactured from high-tensile galvanized steel, our Field Fence features a specialized graduated mesh design—tighter at the bottom for small animal safety. Its unique woven structure (Hinge Joint or Fixed Knot) offers excellent flexibility, absorbing high impact energy while conforming perfectly to undulating terrain.
Product Overview
Engineered for durability and reliability, our Livestock Field Fence is the ultimate solution for farm containment and grassland management. Manufactured using high-tensile galvanized steel wire, this fencing is designed to withstand high impact from cattle, horses, sheep, and goats while resisting rust and corrosion in harsh outdoor environments.
Featuring a specialized graduated mesh design, the spacing is tighter at the bottom to prevent small livestock from escaping or predators from entering, and wider at the top for cost-efficiency. Its unique woven structure (available in Hinge Joint or Fixed Knot) offers excellent flexibility, allowing the fence to conform to undulating terrain and absorb impact energy without permanent deformation. Easy to install and virtually maintenance-free, it is the ideal choice for perimeter fencing, ranch boundaries, and ecological protection.
Key Engineering Features
High Tensile Strength & Impact Resistance
Made from high-tensile steel wire, the fence can withstand the intense impact of large animals like cattle and horses. The tension crimps (curves in the horizontal wire) act as a buffer, allowing the mesh to spring back to its original shape after an impact.
Long Service Life
The hot-dipped galvanized coating provides a thick layer of zinc protection, ensuring the fence remains rust-free for 10–20 years, even in humid, rainy, or harsh outdoor environments.
Safety & Cost-efficiency
The "small at the bottom, large at the top" mesh design prevents lambs and poultry from escaping or getting their heads stuck, while also deterring small predators. This design optimizes material usage, making it more cost-effective than uniform mesh.
Excellent Adaptability to Uneven Terrain
The hinge-joint or fixed-knot structure allows the fence to remain flexible. It can be easily installed on rolling hills, slopes, or undulating grasslands without losing its structural integrity or tension.
Material & Coating Technology
Engineered corrosion protection from core to topcoat.
High Tensile Steel Core
Manufactured from high-carbon steel wire with a tensile strength of 1050-1300 MPa. Resists stretching and animal impact far better than standard mild steel.
Class 3 Galvanization (ASTM A116)
Hot-dipped zinc coating (min. 275g/m²) or Zinc-Aluminum (Galfan) coating. Provides 3x the service life of standard farm fencing in open pastures.
Tension Curve Geometry
Deep crimps in horizontal wires act as springs, absorbing impact energy and allowing the fence to expand/contract with temperature changes without sagging.
Woven Knot Technology
Available in Fixed Knot (solid vertical wires) for high pressure or Hinge Joint for flexibility. Precision weaving ensures wires won't slide under pressure.

System Compatibility
Design Variants
Louver, solid, perforated, and hybrid privacy configurations.
SQUARE KNOT
For a more robust farm and field fence, square knot fencing offers added stability and flexibility compared to the traditional hinged joint product. It conforms to the landscape and is strong enough to withstand abuse from livestock, cattle and falling tree limbs
FIXED KNOT
This high-tensile, fixed-knot fence is ideal for containing large, strong animals such as bison and bulls. The vertical stay wires are secured in place to the line wires with a knot made from an additional wire.
HINGE KNOT
This galvanized woven field fence is perfect for enclosing corrals and pastures. Flexible hinge joints conform to the landscape and minimize damage caused by livestock and weather. The hinge knot moves under pressure, then bounces back into shape.
