Project Track Isolation and Security for 2024 Shanghai International Marathon

Overview

To ensure the safety of 38,000 runners and maintain traffic order, the committee urgently deployed high-strength galvanized barriers along the track. These barriers feature a unique "interlocking hook" design, allowing for rapid connection without screws, significantly shortening deployment time. The specially customized flat base design prevents the fence from tipping over during crowd surges and eliminates tripping hazards for pedestrians. The flat plate area in the center was also fully utilized for displaying sponsor advertisements.
